Job summary

Clyde Munro is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the core financial control and reporting activities of the Group, providing accurate information to support forecasting, analysis and performance insights.

Reporting to the CFO, the role oversees five direct reports, month-end close, statutory reporting, audit, cash management and working capital, driving process improvement, automation and data-led finance across a fast-growing PE-backed business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, control and transactional finance.
• Experience in PE-backed, investor-owned or growth environments.
• Experience in multi-site or distributed businesses, healthcare or customer-focused sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and prepare monthly management accounts for the group.
• Maintain strong financial controls and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audit, and compliance across entities.
• Manage core finance operations including payroll-related processes and cash flow.
• Develop and coach the finance team to deliver accurate reporting and insights.
