Job summary

Carl Meyler Associates is recruiting a Group Financial Controller for a fast-growing technology-enabled services group based in the North West. The role reports to the Finance Director and steers financial control, reporting, governance and operational finance across an expanding, increasingly international business.

You will lead a finance team, own month-end close, strengthen controls, manage treasury and working capital, and support budgeting, forecasting and integration of acquisitions.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven finance leadership experience.
• Experience as Financial Controller or senior finance leader in a growing or acquisitive environment.
• Track record of strengthening controls, improving reporting and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team in a high growth environment.
• Own month-end close and consolidated management accounts.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Oversee statutory reporting and compliance activities.
• Support acquisition integration and harmonisation of finance processes.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting across the group.
• Provide commercial insight and partner with leadership on decisions.
• Drive improvements in systems, reporting, automation and MI.
