That’s why Curve puts your finances simply at your fingertips, so you can make smart choices on how to spend, send, see and save your money. We help you control your financial life, so you can go out and live the life you want to live.

With Curve you can spend from all your accounts, track spend behaviour and provide insights, and security to protect you from fraud. For the first time giving you bright insights and control of all your money in one beautiful place.

We’re developing a ground-breaking product with our customers at the core. Our user base is growing rapidly and we have exceptional metrics. We have funding from the leading names in tech investment, and a visionary leadership team who wants everyone who joins this remarkable adventure, to have the autonomy to masterfully develop their expertise.

Welcome to Curve. On a mission to help you live inspired.

We are seeking a hands-on and ambitious Group Finance Assistant to join our dynamic and growing finance team in London. This is a key operational role that supports the day-to-day financial running of the business, with broad exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal processing, and supporting the monthly close and annual audits.

You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, and the wider business, ensuring processes run smoothly and that we meet our financial reporting obligations. This role is ideal for someone who has built up a solid foundation in finance operations and is now looking to step up in responsibility, contribute to improving processes, and grow their career in a progressive environment.

As Curve continues to scale, the role offers a path to grow into a more senior finance position, with increasing exposure to controllership, reporting, and business partnering. That path will be fully supported by Curve – through development, coaching, and opportunity – but it will always be driven by the individual’s motivation and ambition to grow.

  • Post daily bank transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
  • Support short-term cash flow forecasting and treasury administration tasks, under the management of the Treasury function

Month-End Close & Ledger Management

  • Prepare and post journals including accruals, prepayments, and other general ledger adjustments
  • Support the month-end close and management accounts preparation
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
  • Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring audit-ready documentation is available

  • Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards
  • Contribute to the completion and submission of regulatory returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Liaise with external advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure reporting and compliance requirements are met effectively
  • Support the implementation and improvement of finance systems, processes, and controls
  • Collaborate with other Ar of the finance team to streamline workflows and enhance reporting
  • Provide support and training to junior finance staff as needed
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure accurate financial data capture and analysis
