Job summary

JSS, a global investment management organisation, is seeking a qualified ACA accountant to join its Group Finance function in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on designing and delivering high-quality financial reporting and management information for multiple private equity platforms, with board-level engagement and oversight.

You will prepare monthly/quarterly reports, budgets and forecasts, statutory accounts, and support internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

ACA qualified with first-time passes and strong academic credentials.
Self-starter capable of independent delivery and ownership of work.
Confident communicator with senior executives and board interaction.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise under tight deadlines.
Experience in large or listed organisations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting for investment platform boards.
Produce budgets, forecasts, detailed cost reporting, variance analysis, and long-term projections.
Prepare statutory accounts for multiple group entities and liaise with external auditors.
Present financial statements to Boards of Directors for approval.
Drive improvements to reporting processes and internal controls.
Partner with Fund Administration, Portfolio Monitoring and HR teams for consistent management reporting.
Collaborate with international finance teams for reporting consistency across platforms.
Work with Group Finance to ensure platform reporting aligns with consolidated statements.
Support ad hoc projects and analysis requested by senior stakeholders and board members.
