Job summary

Nuffield Health Islington is looking for a Group Exercise Manager to lead customer service at our club. The role involves teaching classes, scheduling timetables, and developing health and fitness offerings. You will also ensure safety, hygiene, and smooth operation of memberships and facilities.

The ideal candidate is a qualified instructor with relevant class-based exercise credentials and experience in a corporate or commercial fitness setting. First aid qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualified instructor in class-based exercise.
• Experience in a corporate or commercial fitness environment.
• First aid qualification preferred.
• Ability to follow Emergency Action Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in studio and pool.
• Develop class and timetable offering in line with latest trends and budget.
• Help the team follow health and safety rules and codes of practice.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained.
• Understand and promote health assessments, classes and programmes.
• Open/close Centre and process membership payments.
