Job summary

Nuffield Health Islington FWC is seeking a Group Exercise Manager to lead class delivery and customer service at our club. This part-time role offers 10 hours per week with flexible hours and a salary up to £30,085.12 pro rata, depending on skills and experience.

You will be a qualified instructor with relevant class-based exercise qualifications, have commercial fitness experience, and ideally hold a first aid qualification with knowledge of Emergency Action Procedures.

Qualifications

• Qualified instructor with relevant class-based exercise qualifications.
• Experience in a corporate or commercial fitness environment is desirable.
• First aid qualification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Emergency Action Procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in the studio and the pool.
• Develop class offerings and timetable in line with trends and budget.
• Ensure health and safety rules and codes of practice are followed.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained.
• Promote health assessments, classes and programmes offered by the centre.
• Open/close the Centre and process membership payments.

From motivating members to teaching classes, reviewing timetables and ensuring we respond to members in good time. Here, you'll proactively develop both your knowledge and our offering.

As a Group Exercise Manager at our club, you'll be a qualified instructor with the relevant qualifications in class-based exercise. You'll have experience of a corporate or commercial fitness environment. And ideally, you hold a first aid qualification and can follow the Emergency Action Procedures. As a Group Exercise Manager, you will:

• Teach classes in the studio and the pool

• Develop our class and timetable offering, in line with the latest trends and our budget

• Help the team follow health and safety rules, as well as codes of practice

• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained

• Understand and promote all the health assessments, classes and programmes we offer

• Follow our procedures in opening and closing the Centre, and processing membership payments
