Lead an essential Group-wide exams service, ensuring every student’s examination journey is efficient, compliant and supports an outstanding student experience.
In this busy and exciting role, you will lead and coordinate the Exams Team across all sites, ensuring registrations, exam entries, claims and results are managed accurately, efficiently and in line with JCQ and Awarding Body requirements.
You will play a key role in maintaining a professional, student-centred examinations service, overseeing everything from exam timetabling and invigilation through to Awarding Body inspections and the timely processing of achievement data. You will also deputise for the Group Manager of Exams when required, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the service.
As a Team Leader, you will support, motivate and develop your team, continually reviewing processes and procedures to make sure our exams service remains efficient, compliant and ready to respond to changes within qualifications and regulations.
You will be an experienced and confident team leader with recent experience of coordinating a busy business function and leading a proactive, customer-focused service.
You will have strong knowledge of Awarding Body regulations, examination processes and student record systems, alongside excellent analytical, organisational and advanced IT skills. A relevant Level 3 qualification and a minimum of Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy are essential, as are excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
You will be comfortable managing and developing staff, delivering training, analysing information and working collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
