About the Role:

Are you ready to lead the environmental and sustainability strategy for cutting-edge data centre projects across the UK & Europe?

This is a new strategic leadership role within a rapidly growing, forward-thinking company delivering critical infrastructure across the continent.

As the Group Environmental & Sustainability Manager, you will set strategic direction, develop frameworks, and embed best practices across major high-spec developments from inception to operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the Environmental and Sustainability strategy across all European projects.
• Provide guidance on environmental performance, carbon reduction, circular economy, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, clients, contractors, and design teams to promote innovation and environmental excellence.
• Develop governance, metrics, reporting, and ESG standards for the group.
• Ensure compliance with regional and EU environmental regulations.
• Mentor and develop the internal environmental and sustainability team.

About You:

• Proven experience in senior Environmental or Sustainability roles, preferably within data centres, complex infrastructure, or high-tech sectors.
• Deep knowledge of EU environmental regulations, sustainable construction, and carbon/net zero frameworks.
• Strategic thinker with a practical approach and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in building and scaling environmental management systems.
• Willingness to travel across European project sites as needed.
