Sofina Foods Europe is seeking a Group Environmental Manager to lead environmental performance across its European manufacturing network. You will drive compliance, oversee EMS (ISO 14001), and coordinate Scope 1–3 emissions reporting while supporting sustainability strategies and Net Zero ambitions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing environmental compliance within manufacturing, FMCG or a similarly regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
• Practical knowledge of Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon reporting and greenhouse gas accounting.
• Understanding of sustainability frameworks including the GHG Protocol, SBTi and Net Zero programmes.

Responsabilités

• Lead environmental compliance across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution operations.
• Coordinate ISO 14001 EMS and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas reporting in line with standards.
• Support delivery of sustainability strategy, including Net Zero commitments.
• Identify opportunities to reduce emissions and improve resource efficiency.
• Develop environmental performance reporting, KPIs and insights for senior leadership.
• Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to strengthen supplier sustainability reporting.
• Provide guidance on evolving legislation and best practice.
• Support environmental audits, investigations and compliance activities.
• Build environmental awareness and engagement across teams to embed continuous improvement.
