Job summary

Teesside Hospice Group is seeking a Group Director of Fundraising and Communications to join our Senior Management Team. The role is based at Teesside Hospice Group Offices with hybrid working options and a 37.5 hour week.

You will lead multiple fundraising departments, shape strategy and enhance donor engagement to support our mission of providing compassionate care. DBS checks apply, and the closing date is 2 November 2026 at 10am.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading multiple fundraising departments or directorate.
• Transferable skills from another sector considered.
• Strong ability to work with senior leadership teams and develop fundraising strategy.

Are you an experienced Fundraising leader interested in working for an ambitious hospice group?

Group Director of Fundraising and Communications

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexible working will be considered)

Department: Senior Management Team

Location: Teesside Hospice Group Offices/Hybrid

After a recent merger between Teesside and Butterwick Hospices, Teesside Hospice Group is recruiting a Group Director of Fundraising and Communications.

You will play a major part in making all this happen, working alongside a dynamic supportive Senior Leadership Team all committed to ensuring everyone who uses our services receives the very best support available.

If you have significant experience of leading multiple fundraising departments/directorate or feel you have transferable skills from another sector we’d love to hear from you.
