Job summary

Pratap Partnership Ltd has been engaged to identify a Group Chief Financial Officer for a privately owned Yorkshire business at a pivotal growth stage. This is a high-visibility, executive appointment for an experienced CFO or Group Finance Director who will shape the financial strategy and lead through acquisitions, funding and integration.

Reporting to the CEO, you will work with the leadership team to build scalable financial systems, cash flow, reporting and teams as the group expands.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a CFO, Group FD or senior Finance Director.
• Meaningful involvement in acquisitions, funding and post-acquisition integration.
• A track record of supporting business growth, ideally within an entrepreneurial or acquisition-led organisation.
• Strong commercial judgement, alongside experience of banking relationships, cash flow and working capital.
• The ability to develop financial reporting, systems and teams as a business grows.
• A confident, pragmatic and straightforward approach, comfortable working at pace and providing constructive challenge.
• Experience within a privately owned or private equity backed business would be particularly relevant.

Pratap Executive is working exclusively with a successful, privately owned Yorkshire business to appoint a Group Chief Financial Officer at an important stage in its development.

Already an established and profitable organisation, the business has ambitious plans for significant growth through strategic acquisitions, organic expansion and new commercial opportunities.

This is an opportunity for an experienced CFO or ambitious Group Finance Director who wants to play a key role in building and shaping a substantially larger business.

The Opportunity

Working as part of the senior leadership team, you will help drive the next stage of growth, combining strategic financial leadership with a strong commercial and hands-on approach.

The role will have a particular focus on acquisitions, funding, integration and developing the financial structure needed to support an expanding group.

You will have the opportunity to influence key decisions, work closely with an ambitious leadership team and help shape the future direction of the business.

About You

We are keen to speak with finance leaders who can demonstrate:

• Strong experience as a CFO, Group FD or senior Finance Director.
