Job Description:

Job Title: Treasury Accountant

Location: Remote working

Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hrs per week)

Previously known as the London Market Joint Ventures, we have been operating for over 20 years in the London market (Lloyd's and Company), in both insurance and reinsurance business. We process over £101 billion worth of premium and claims transactions today. We are building a new digital platform and services to enable our customers to move transactions and money through the processing lifecycle with greater efficiency and speed, allowing more focus on innovation and higher value activities.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Manage the organization's financial assets, ensuring adequate liquidity and supporting investment and debt activities.
2. Maintain banking relationships, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with treasury policies and regulations.
3. Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and controls.
4. Participate in preparing accurate and timely financial reports.
5. Support and develop a team of controllers and accountants.
6. Collaborate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
7. Coordinate with external auditors for financial audits.
8. Monitor compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls.
9. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
10. Promote teamwork and foster a collaborative environment within the controllership team.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Typically, 6+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 2+ years in a similar role.
3. Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and control functions.
4. Proficiency in financial reporting, audit compliance, and risk management.
5. Continuous learner maintaining industry knowledge and technological skills.

Experience with a Treasury Management System is desirable.

Other Qualifications:

1. Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
2. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) are advantageous.
