Job summary

AEJ Management are seeking a Groundworks Supervisor to oversee site works across the UK, using the Chelmsford office as a base. The role involves overnight stays and a mix of day/night shifts, with a 48-hour work week overall.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 months in grounds supervision, CSCS and SSSTS, and a full driving licence. A company van, pension and generous holiday allowance are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in a grounds maintenance supervisory role.
• Experience using a range of power tools and equipment.
• CSCS Card.
• SSSTS.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of work on site, ensuring processes are followed.
• General construction tasks including paving, kerbing, bollards, foundation work, drainage, finishing, surfacing, concreting.
• Ensuring health and safety policy compliance on site.
• Delivering high-quality work aligned with client expectations.
• Completing completion reports after works using online admin system.
• Signing permits to work on site.
• Managing health and safety on site to protect the team and public.
