Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting an experienced Groundworks Gang for an immediate start on an ongoing project in Whitby. The role focuses on high-volume kerbing, pin kerbing, and topsoiling/finishing works with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Requirements include CSCS card for all members, NPORS/CPCS tickets for 360 Excavator and Forward-Tipping Dumper, plus full PPE and basic hand tools. Genuine reliability and punctuality are essential for this team-based role.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required for all gang members.
• NPORS/CPCS tickets for 360 Excavator and Forward-Tipping Dumper.
• Proven deep/shallow groundworks with kerbing, pin kerbing and topsoil finishing.
• Full PPE and hand tools provided by workers.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-volume kerbing and pin kerbing tasks.
• Perform topsoiling and finishing works to specification.
• Work safely using PPE and hand tools on site.

Role: Groundworks Gang (360 Machine Operator & Dumper/Groundworker)

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Gang for an immediate start on an ongoing project in Whitby. The work primarily involves high-volume kerbing, pin kerbing, and topsoiling/finishing works.

Key Requirements

• CSCS Cards: Valid CSCS card required for all gang members.
• Plant Tickets: Valid NPORS (or CPCS) tickets for 360 Excavator and Forward- Tipping Dumper.
• Experience: Proven background in deep/shallow groundworks, with heavy emphasis on kerbing, pin kerbing, and soiling.
• Equipment: Must have full personal PPE and standard hand tools.
• Reliability: Solid work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work effectively as a unit.
