Job summary

Apex Resources Limited is seeking a Groundworks Blackhat to lead and supervise on-site groundworks projects in and around Manchester. You will oversee teams, ensure safety, plan tasks and liaise with site management. Candidates need a minimum of 3 years’ experience, 2 referees, and hold CSCS, SSSTS and first aid certificates.

We offer a 6–12 month contract with digs provided when working away. Based in Greater Manchester, the role requires a hands-on leader capable of coordinating multiple sites

Qualifications

• 3 years of groundworks experience
• 2 checkable references
• Manchester-based preferred due to project locations

Job description

Apex Resources Limited are currently on the lookout for a Groundworks Blackhat to lead and oversee Groundworks projects on-site in and around Manchester.

Duties: Supervise groundworkers with all aspects of groundworks across multiple projects around Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. Must have at least 3 years experience and 2 checkable references. Ideally as well must be Manchester based due to nature of projects (Digs will be provided if working away)

Start Date: Monday 26th October

Contract Rate: Negotiable day rate dependant on tickets and experience

Duration: 6 months - 1 year

Requirements: Valid CSCS card, SSSTS, first aid certificate and PPE.
