Job summary

MTRP Ltd in Lancashire is recruiting a Groundworks Contracts Manager to oversee civils and groundworks across several sites, ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets. You will allocate labour and plant to sites, manage client relations and attend progress meetings.

The role requires CSCS Gold or above, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and NVQ3 in Supervisory Management or equivalent/HNC or degree. Daily travel across Greater Manchester and Lancashire is expected.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Supervisory Management or equivalent/HNC or degree.
• CSCS Card (gold or above)
• SMSTS training; First Aid at Work qualified.
• IT literate; capable of producing reports, programmes for distribution to wider project teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civils and groundworks teams including allocation of labour and plant to multiple sites.
• Oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to end of Defects Liability Period.
• Manage client relationships, attend progress meetings and produce reports.
• Coordinate with commercial teams on budgets, variations and forecasting.
• Manage S38/S278/S104 works from initial discussions through to final handover and sign off.
