Go Construct is offering an apprenticeship as a Groundworker (level 2) providing hands-on experience on construction and civil sites. The program includes regular training with a college or training organisation (GREENLIGHT TRAINING LIMITED) and a total duration of 1 year 6 months.

The apprenticeship pays £16,640 per year with a 40-hour week and a possible start date of Monday 30 November 2026. 1 position available. Training includes at least 20% of hours dedicated to study or college courses.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship offering hands‑on experience on construction and civil sites.
• College or training organisation involved in apprenticeship training (at least 20% of working hours spent training).
• GCSE Maths and English at level 2 required; other relevant qualifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Work on construction and civil engineering sites from start to finish.
• Prepare groundworks: drainage, concreting, paving, roads & utilities.
• Follow health, safety and environmental rules at all times.
• Use hand tools, power tools and basic setting‑out equipment.
• Work as part of a team with supervisors and other trades.
• Learn practical groundwork skills on live sites.
