Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd is seeking a Semi-skilled Groundworker/Labourer to join the team in the UK. The role focuses on residential oil spill projects, environmental restoration, and safety compliance across pollution response services for the insurance sector.

You will support senior staff, perform groundwork and drainage tasks, and work away when needed. A CSCS certificate and driving licence are required, with DBS and pre-employment screening conducted.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-skilled construction, including groundwork and drainage.
• CSCS certification is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required; occasional travel may be needed.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening will occur.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site works following safety protocols and plans.
• Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with tasks.
• Support ISO9001 and ISO45001 processes and documentation.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by Top Management.
• Travel and work away from home when required.
