Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd in Winchester is seeking a Groundworker / Dumper Driver for a construction project. You will operate a forward tipping dumper, transport materials, and assist with groundwork to prepare foundations.

Adhere to health and safety procedures, maintain a clean site, and work closely with site management. CSCS card and a valid Dumper Ticket are essential.

We offer weekly payroll and dedicated support through 3D Personnel as an employment business.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CSCS Card.
• Must hold a Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket (CPCS or NPORS).
• Previous experience as Groundworker/Dumper Driver on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently around site.
• Transport materials, soil and aggregates across the construction site.
• Dig trenches and carry out excavation work.
• Use shovels and other hand tools as required.
• Clear the site by removing topsoil and anything that may affect the construction process.
• Landscaping the site and general site clearance.
• Set up and maintain the construction site, including kerbs and driveways where needed.
• Work with site management and other trades to ensure timely completion.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep a clean, safe working environment.

Job description

3D Personnel are currently looking for a Groundworker / Dumper Driver for a construction project in Winchester.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Operating a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently around site


• Transporting materials, soil and aggregates across the construction site


• Digging trenches and carrying out excavation work


• Using shovels and other hand tools


• Clearing the site by removing topsoil and anything that may affect the construction process


• Landscaping the site


• Clearing vegetation and carrying out general site clearance


• Removing old drainage or other pipework systems


• Assisting with drainage installation and groundwork operations


• Preparing the ground for the building team to lay foundations


• Setting up and maintaining the construction site


• Laying kerbs, paving and driveways where required


• Working closely with site management and other trades to ensure work is completed efficiently


• Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe working environment


• Performing all other site duties as instructed by the site management team

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card


• Must hold a valid Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket (CPCS or NPORS)


• Must have previous experience working as a Groundworker / Dumper Driver on construction sites


• Must be confident operating site plant safely


• Must be hard-working, reliable and motivated


• Must have valid ID/Passport


• Must have full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis vest and safety boots)
