Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd are seeking a 360 Operator for a construction project in Reading. You will operate a 360 excavator to carry out digging, loading and material movement, while performing thorough safety checks and ensuring compliance with site rules.

Key tasks include trench excavation, foundation work, loading materials, and working safely around other plant and site personnel. A valid CPCS/NPORS ticket and experience on site are required, with PPE and ID in order.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS ticket for 360 Excavator & Dumper is required.
• Experience operating a 360 excavator on construction sites is essential.
• Must be hardworking, reliable and driven.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 360 excavator safely and efficiently for excavation, digging, loading and material moving.

Job description

3D Personnel are currently looking for an 360 Operator for a construction project in Reading.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Operate a 360 excavator safely and efficiently to carry out excavation, digging, loading, and material-moving duties.
• Conduct thorough pre-start and daily safety checks on the excavator before operation.
• Safely excavate trenches, foundations, footings, and other areas as instructed by the Site Management Team.
• Load and move materials such as soil, rubble, aggregates, and other site materials.
• Operate the excavator around obstacles, confined spaces, and busy construction sites.
• Work safely around other plant, machinery, vehicles, and site personnel.
• Operating a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently around site
• Transporting materials, soil and aggregates across the construction site
• Digging trenches and carrying out excavation work
• Using shovels and other hand tools
• Clearing the site by removing topsoil and anything that may affect the construction process
• Landscaping the site
• Clearing vegetation and carrying out general site clearance
• Removing old drainage or other pipework systems
• Assisting with drainage installation and groundwork operations
• Preparing the ground for the building team to lay foundations
• Carry out routine checks and report any defects or mechanical issues immediately.
• Follow all site rules, safety regulations, and operating procedures.
• Perform all required duties on site as instructed by the Site Management Team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment at all times.
• Carry out all work in accordance with industry health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS ticket for 360 Excavator & Dumper Ticket.
• Experience operating a 360 excavator on construction sites.
• Must be hardworking, reliable, and driven.
• Must have valid ID/Passport.
• Must have full PPE, including:
• Must have full site PPE
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a site team.
• Must have a strong focus on safety and responsible plant operation.
