Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking a Groundworker and Dumper Driver for a site in Blyth. You will operate a forward tipping dumper, move materials, and support excavation and groundwork tasks on a construction site.

We require a valid CSCS card, a forward tipping dumper ticket (CPCS/NPORS), and prior groundworks experience. PPE and ID are essential, with a reliable, hard-working attitude to fit into the team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card.
• Must hold a valid Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket (CPCS or NPORS).
• Must have previous experience as Groundworker/Dumper Driver on construction sites.
• Must be confident operating site plant safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently around site.
• Transport materials, soil and aggregates across site.
• Dig trenches and carry out excavation work.
• Use shovels and other hand tools.
• Clear the site by removing topsoil and anything affecting the construction process.
• Landscape the site.
• Clear vegetation and carry out general site clearance.
• Remove old drainage or other pipework systems.
• Assist with drainage installation and groundwork operations.
• Prepare ground for foundations.
• Set up and maintain the construction site.
• Lay kerbs, paving and driveways where required.
• Work with site management and other trades to ensure efficient completion.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Perform other site duties as instructed by site management.

3D Personnel are currently looking for a Groundworker / Dumper Driver for a construction project in Blyth.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Operating a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently around site
• Transporting materials, soil and aggregates across the construction site
• Digging trenches and carrying out excavation work
• Using shovels and other hand tools
• Clearing the site by removing topsoil and anything that may affect the construction process
• Landscaping the site
• Clearing vegetation and carrying out general site clearance
• Removing old drainage or other pipework systems
• Assisting with drainage installation and groundwork operations
• Preparing the ground for the building team to lay foundations
• Setting up and maintaining the construction site
• Laying kerbs, paving and driveways where required
• Working closely with site management and other trades to ensure work is completed efficiently
• Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
• Performing all other site duties as instructed by the site management team

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card
• Must hold a valid Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket (CPCS or NPORS)
• Must have previous experience working as a Groundworker / Dumper Driver on construction sites
• Must be confident operating site plant safely
• Must be hard-working, reliable and motivated
• Must have valid ID/Passport
• Must have full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis vest and safety boots)
