Job summary

Coinford is seeking reliable Groundworkers for our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Sittingbourne. You will support a range of general groundworks activities, helping deliver safe and high-quality projects.

The role offers weekly pay, ongoing work, and opportunities to move into more skilled roles, with access to training and site tickets as required.

Qualifications

• CSCS Labourer/Groundworker card or equivalent with proven site experience.
• Able to follow drawings, levels and instructions from supervisors.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• General groundworks including digging, backfilling and concreting.
• Assisting externals (slabs, kerbs, edgings) where required.
• Assisting plant operators and banking 360 machines and dumpers.
• Basic drainage and ducting works as directed by the Foreman.
• Keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant with site rules.
• Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for reliable Groundworkers to join our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Sittingbourne. You will support a range of general groundworks activities, helping deliver safe and high-quality projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General groundworks including digging, backfilling and concreting
• Assisting with externals (slabs, kerbs, edgings) where required
• Assisting plant operators and banking 360 machines and dumpers
• Basic drainage and ducting works as directed by the Foreman
• Keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant with site rules
• Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery

REQUIREMENTS:

• CSCS Labourer/Groundworker card or equivalent, with proven site experience
• Confident carrying out general groundworks tasks under supervision
• Able to follow drawings, levels and instructions from supervisors
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE:

• CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper and/or Ride-On Roller
• CAT & Genny ticket
• Safety Critical Medical
