Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Groundworker to join the Responsive Repairs division, delivering high-quality groundworks and multi-skilled repairs on social housing tenanted properties across Berkshire and Hampshire, with occasional coverage of surrounding areas. You will have a stable, long-term role with 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Groundworks experience in social housing is essential.
• Experience with repairs or replacement tasks including flagging, gutters, fencing and landscaping.
• Basic multi-trade skills (joinery and plumbing) advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out groundworks and multi-skilled repairs and replacement services on tenanted properties.
• Repair or replacement of flagging, gutters including gutter cleaning, fencing, landscaping, minor tarmac repairs, drainage, void clearances.
• Work from job tickets or handheld device on a live shared system.
• Travel across Berkshire and Hampshire with occasional coverage beyond the area.
• Follow Novus Health and Safety policies and standards.

Location: Site based as part of a team covering Berkshire and Hampshire in the main with occasional coverage of surrounding areas. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours

This is an exciting opportunity for a Groundworker to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality groundworks and multi skilled repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties

This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Groundworks background. The works include the repairs or replacement of flagging, gutters including gutter cleaning, fencing, landscaping, minor tarmac repairs, minor drainage, void clearances

Basic Multi trade skills including joinery and plumbing advantageous to support the wider team.

Working in tenanted properties on responsive repairs and occasional voids.

Social Housing experience is essential.

Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.

Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively

Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes

Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards

NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks advantageous

Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus

Full UK driving license is required.

The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
