Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a hands-on groundworks operative to join our in-person team at Stansted. You will carry out drainage, excavation and finishing works from drawings and site plans, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Applicants should have a valid CSCS card, proven groundworks experience, and the ability to work both independently and with a crew, maintaining high health and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Proven groundworks experience required.
• CSCS card holder preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general groundworks activities including drainage, excavations, concreting and finishing works.
• Install mains drainage systems and associated utilities.
• Work from drawings and site plans to complete works safely and accurately.
• Assist with excavation works and temporary excavation support systems.
• Establish and maintain safe working areas in line with site requirements.
• Support other construction activities as required.

• Install mains drainage systems and associated utilities.


• Work from drawings and site plans to complete works safely and accurately.


• Assist with excavation works and temporary excavation support systems.


• Establish and maintain safe working areas in line with site requirements.


• Support other construction activities as required.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

£17.80 - £21.90 per hour (depending on experience)
