Job summary

Norse Contracts Ltd is seeking an experienced groundworks gang for a Beckton project to carry out external works and finishing packages. The ideal team is 2 groundworkers and 1 machine driver who have worked together, though individuals are welcome.

Responsibilities include external slabbing, paving, kerbs, sub-base prep, and high-standard finishing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in external works, block paving and slabbing.
• Valid CSCS card is essential.
• Machine Driver: CPCS or NPORS ticket for 360 excavator/forward tipping dumper.
• Own hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out external works on a Beckton project.
• Lay, cut and finish block paving and slabs.
• Build kerbs and edgings and prepare sub-base.
• Finish works to a high standard.

Job Type: Contract / Self-employed (CIS) [or PAYE - amend as needed]

Pay: [£XXX per day - Groundworkers] / [£XXX per day - Machine Driver] / [or gang day rate]

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced groundworks gang to join us on a project in Beckton, carrying out external works and finishing packages. The ideal setup is an established gang of 2 groundworkers and 1 machine driver who are used to working together, but we're also happy to hear from individuals.

The Work Includes

• External slabbing and paving
• Block paving (laying, cutting and compacting)
• Kerbs, edgings and associated groundworks
• Sub-base preparation and levelling
• Finishing works to a high standard

Requirements

• Proven experience in external works, block paving and slabbing
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Machine Driver: valid CPCS or NPORS ticket for [360 excavator / forward tipping dumper / other]
• Own hand tools
