Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Burnham-on-Sea is seeking a site Groundworker to carry out general groundworks, foundation laying, kerbs, slabs and drainage on a busy civil engineering site.

You should have CSCS card and prior groundworks experience, a strong team ethic, reliability, and be able to work under the site manager's direction.

On-time arrival, adherence to safety, and readiness to take on additional duties will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Groundworker is essential.
• CSCS Card is required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team.
• Able to work on standalone tasks and follow site instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general groundworks and site preparation.
• Lay foundations as required.
• Install kerbs, slabs and tactile paving.
• Carry out internal and external drainage tasks.

The role:

As the site Groundworker you will be responsible for

• General Groundworks
• Laying Foundations
• Laying Kerbs, Slabs and Tactiles
• Internal and External Drainage

About you:

Ideally you will have previous working experience in a groundworks position.

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.
