Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Groundworker for social housing maintenance in North Cornwall, covering Bodmin to Bude. Permanent role with a salary of £35-37k per annum, plus van and fuel card. You will perform external maintenance, repair paths, gutters, fencing, brickwork and report to a supervisor.

You must have a full UK driving license and will undergo DBS. Working hours are 40 per week, 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

• Good attitude and reliability is essential.
• DBS check will be carried out prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• External maintenance in social housing properties.
• Repair pathways and steps to prevent trips and falls.
• Gutter cleans.
• Fencing repairs.
• Repointing and brickwork repairs where required.
• Work with other trades when required.
• Travel to various jobs in company van.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Report progress to supervisor.

Groundworker – North Cornwall – Maintenance

Experienced Groundworker required on social housing maintenance works in North Cornwall for a reliable and well liked maintenance contractor. Your work patch will be Bodmin up to Bude.

Permanent role with a salary of between £35-37k per annum plus van and fuel card.

• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Fortnightly pay
• 40 hours per week, 8am-4.30pm

Groundworker Day to Day:

• External maintenance in social housing properties
• Repairing paths and steps preventing trips and falls
• Gutter cleans
• Fencing repairs
• Repointing and brickwork repairs where required
• Working alongside other trades when required
• Travelling to various jobs in the company van responsibly
• Dealing with some customers and being friendly and polite
• Reporting to the supervisor on progress

Groundworker Requirements:

• Good external maintenance experience
• Good attitude
• Honest and reliable
• Full UK driving license
• DBS will be carried out
