Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Groundworker in the Bath area for a permanent role with a busy social housing maintenance contractor. The successful candidate will cover Bath and surrounding areas, with a company van and fuel card provided.

Role includes external maintenance, brickwork and paving tasks, and coordination with other trades. Typical hours are 8am-4:30pm, 40 hours per week, with 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and fortnightly pay.

Qualifications

• Good Groundworks/external maintenance experience.
• Full UK driving license.
• DBS will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Responsive external maintenance in social housing properties.
• Repairing paths and steps to prevent trips and falls.
• Gutter cleans, fencing, repointing and brickwork repairs.
• Working alongside other trades when required.
• Travelling to various jobs in the company van
• Dealing with customers in a friendly and polite manner.
• Reporting to the supervisor on progress.

Groundworker

Bath and surrounding area - External Domestic Maintenance

Experienced Groundworker required on social housing maintenance works in Bath and Surrounding area for a busy maintenance contractor. Your work patch will be Bath, Bristol, Melksham and Trowbridge areas.

• Permanent role
• £35,000- 36,400per annum
• Company van and fuel card.

• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Fortnightly pay
• 40 hours per week, 8am-4.30pm

Groundworker Day to Day:

• Responsive external maintenance in social housing properties
• Repairing paths and steps preventing trips and falls
• Gutter cleans , fencing, repointing and brickwork repairs
• Working alongside other trades when required
• Travelling to various jobs in the company van responsibly
• Dealing with some customers and being friendly and polite
• Reporting to the supervisor on progress

Groundworker Requirements:
