Job summary

Coinford Holdings Ltd in Sittingbourne is seeking experienced Groundwork Handymen to join our teams on a busy project. You will be a skilled all-rounder across pipelaying, drainage, externals and external works. Join a disciplined gang delivering high-quality groundworks with safety as a priority.

Required CSCS Groundworker card, Confined Space, and other site-specific qualifications. We offer ongoing work with competitive rates and weekly pay, with opportunities to progress into more skilled

Qualifications

CSCS Groundworker card or similar qualification
Confined Space ticket
Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
CAT & Genny Training
Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

Setting up and using trench boxes, drag boxes, manhole boxes and pipe lasers
Laying concrete, clay and plastic pipes (all sizes) to correct bed, surround and levels
Ensuring pipes are tested and laid correctly throughout
Managing groundwater and setting up the correct pump for the task
Ensuring correct backfilling of trenches
Benching of all manholes
External works including kerbs, edgings, slabs and block paving
Working safely around live services using correct service avoidance techniques
Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections
