Job summary

NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD is seeking reliable Groundworkers to join our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Kent. You will operate a Forward Tipping Dumper and focus on external drainage and related groundwork tasks.

Key responsibilities include general groundworks, drainage installs, and assisting with external works. CSCS Groundworker card or equivalent is required, with proven site experience and a UK right to work. Ongoing work with potential for progression.

Qualifications

• CSCS Groundworker card or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience operating a Forward Tipping Dumper on construction sites.
• Able to follow drawings, levels and instructions from supervisors.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in external drainage work is desirable.

Responsibilities

• General groundworks including digging, backfilling and concreting.
• Loading and operating a Forward Tipping Dumper to transport materials around site.
• Assisting with externals (slabs, kerbs, edgings) where required.
• Assisting plant operators and banking 360 machines and dumpers.
• Basic drainage and ducting works as directed by the Foreman.
• Carrying out daily pre-start checks on the dumper and reporting any defects.
• Keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant with site rules.
• Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery.
• Carrying out external drainage works, including excavation of drainage runs and preparation of trenches.
• Installing and working with drainage pipework, manholes, chambers and associated connections.
• Working to required levels, gradients and falls for external drainage.

Job description

We are looking for reliable and experienced Groundworkers with a valid Forward Tipping Dumper ticket to join our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Kent. You will support a range of general groundworks activities, alongside operating a forward tipping dumper, with a particular focus on external drainage and associated groundwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• General groundworks including digging, backfilling and concreting
• Loading and operating a Forward Tipping Dumper to transport and move materials safely around site
• Assisting with externals (slabs, kerbs, edgings) where required
• Assisting plant operators and banking 360 machines and dumpers
• Basic drainage and ducting works as directed by the Foreman
• Carrying out daily pre-start checks on the dumper and reporting any defects
• Keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant with site rules

REQUIREMENTS

• CSCS Groundworker card or equivalent, with proven site experience

• Confident carrying out general groundworks tasks
• Able to follow drawings, levels and instructions from supervisors
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK
• Proven experience carrying out external drainage work
• Experience working with drainage pipes, manholes, chambers and connections
• Good understanding of drainage levels, gradients and falls
