Job summary

C Cheltenham College is seeking a Groundsperson to join our renowned Grounds team and care for our premier sports facilities in Cheltenham. The position involves varied duties across all grounds tasks and requires a practical approach and teamwork.

Experience in grounds work, particularly cricket, is advantageous; NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf and spraying/chainsaw qualifications are desirable. A full UK driving license is essential.

For December 2026, an opportunity has arisen for a new Groundsperson to work on the outstanding sports grounds at Cheltenham College. Joining an excellent Grounds team, you will work on some of the best sporting facilities in the country. Work will be varied and will cover all aspects of grounds work.

Experience in grounds work, especially cricket, would be an advantage. NVQ Level 2 in Sports turf would be desirable, as well as spraying and chainsaw qualifications. You must be able to work as part of a small dedicated team. Full UK driving license is also essential.
