Job summary

Ben Burgess is hiring a Groundscare Service Technician to join their team in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and surrounding depots. The role involves diagnostics, repair and servicing of groundscare equipment, including John Deere and other brands, with ongoing training and mentoring provided.

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, a customer‑focused mindset, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivation, strong communication skills, and a drive to embrace new challenges.
• Experience in a franchised dealer environment is preferred, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
• Proficiency in maintaining and repairing machinery using special tools and following approved technical procedures.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours during peak seasons and weekends.
• A valid UK driving licence.
