Job summary

Ben Burgess & Co. is seeking a skilled Groundscare Service Technician to service John Deere machinery and other leading brands across our Cambridgeshire and Rutland depots.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and service high-spec equipment in workshops and in the field, contributing to our motto “Where Service Still Counts.” Ideal candidates have strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills, a can-do attitude, and a valid UK driving licence, with full training provided and opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and learn.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing groundscare equipment.
• Servicing John Deere machinery and other brands.
• Developing skills through ongoing training on new products and services.
• Carrying out quality assurance in workshop and field settings.
• Mentoring apprentices and trainees.
• Preparing new and used equipment for delivery.
