Winner Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a growing grounds maintenance business. The role is based in Birmingham and involves delivering contracts across multiple client sites throughout the UK.

You will plan resources, manage teams and subcontractors, maintain client relationships, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. There is a clear pathway to director-level progression as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or horticultural operations.
• Experience managing commercial contracts and teams.
• Willingness to travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of grounds maintenance contracts across multiple client sites in the UK.
• Plan resources and coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant and equipment.
• Manage operational teams to maintain safety, quality and performance standards.
• Liaise with clients to meet specifications and improve contract performance.
• Monitor timesheets, productivity and reporting; ensure records are accurate.
