Job summary

Vanta Staffing Limited is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work across the Slough area. The role involves outdoor grounds maintenance at various locations, with duties including strimming, hedge cutting, and general maintenance.

Must hold a full UK driving licence and be physically fit to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Hours are 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 37 hours per week.

Grounds Maintenance Operative - Full Driving Licence Required

Location: Slough

Pay: £14.47 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Vanta Staffing is recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative for work across the Slough area.

This is an active outdoor position carrying out general grounds maintenance at various locations throughout the borough.

Duties

• Strimming
• Hedge cutting
• Grass and grounds maintenance
• General outdoor maintenance
• Clearing and tidying outdoor areas
• Using grounds maintenance equipment
• Travelling between locations throughout the working day
• General manual duties as required

Essential Requirements

You must have:

• A full UK driving licence
• Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping or similar outdoor experience
• Experience using equipment such as strimmers and hedge cutters
• Good physical fitness
• A willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Good reliability and timekeeping
• The ability to work safely and follow instructions
