Ex-military candidates are encouraged, with driving duties involved and a strong focus on customer service and safety compliance. The role offers a stable day shift and benefits as part of a major housing association’s Clean Start Team.

Qualifikationen

• Ex-military leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
• Grounds maintenance experience or hands-on tool experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety and COSHH knowledge.
• Full driving licence required to drive company vans.
• Positive, can-do attitude with disciplined approach to work.
• Desirable: PA1/PA6 City & Guilds and chainsaw experience.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mentor a local grounds maintenance team on site; provide clear, constructive feedback to develop team skills.
• Ensure standards and targets are met and time on site is recorded.
• Work across contracted sites on grass cutting, weed spraying, leaf clearance, and tenancy clearance.
• Act on customer feedback to continuously improve service.
