HR GO Group is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative for temporary work in Ashford, Kent. The role involves maintaining parks and public spaces, using mowers and other grounds equipment, and helping to keep outdoor areas safe and well-presented.

The ideal candidate has hands-on grounds maintenance or horticulture experience, a full UK driving licence, and can work outdoors in all weather. Immediate start available with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping or horticulture.
• Experience using grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain safety standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers.
• Strimming, edging and hedge cutting.
• Pruning shrubs and maintaining flower beds and landscaped areas.
• Planting seasonal flowers, trees and shrubs.
• General gardening and grounds maintenance.
• Litter picking and keeping parks and public areas clean.
• Assisting with seasonal and estate maintenance tasks.
• Safely operating grounds maintenance machinery.
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Driving company vehicles between sites.
