Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join a busy team in Ivybridge. These are ongoing temporary positions offering full-time hours with an immediate start available for the right candidates.

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will perform grass cutting, hedge trimming, general gardening and maintenance, leaf clearance, and site safety tasks as part of a small team. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds or garden maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor work.
• Ability to perform physical outdoor tasks and work in varying weather.
• Team player with reliable and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting using a variety of equipment.
• Hedge trimming and pruning.
• General gardening and grounds maintenance.
• Weeding, planting, and maintaining flower beds.
• Leaf clearance and litter picking.
• Keeping outdoor areas clean, safe and well-presented.
• Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
