Job summary

Think Recruitment is recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative in Birmingham. The role pays £17.00 per hour, 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 12-week temp-to-perm path. You will maintain communal green spaces and operate petrol-powered equipment as part of an award-winning maintenance team for a housing association.

You will need hands-on grounds maintenance experience, a full UK driving licence, and PA1/PA6 are a bonus. A company van is provided for work purposes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance.
• Experience with grass cutting, hedge and shrub cutting, pruning, strimming and weed control.
• Experience operating petrol-powered machinery and ride-on mowers.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A good eye for detail and pride in your work.
• PA1 & PA6 qualifications are ideal, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting and maintaining communal green spaces.
• Hedge and shrub trimming.
• Strimming and pruning.
• Weed control and litter picking.
• Operating petrol-powered grounds maintenance equipment.
• Using ride-on and stand-on mowers.
