Job summary

Your Housing Group is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative in St Helens to maintain grounds and environmental services across Northwest sites. You will work in a supportive team, delivering grass cutting, pruning and landscaping to high standards while prioritising safety and customer care.

The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive package including pension and health benefits. DBS checks may be required as part of pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to work in a small team with clear communication.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Willing to train and use a range of powered landscaping tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass cutting, shrub pruning, weed control and other landscaping tasks.
• Work as part of a small team to deliver high standards of grounds maintenance.
• Be trained to use and maintain powered landscaping tools and equipment.
• Hold a full valid UK driving licence and travel to Your Housing Group sites as required.
