Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to care for outdoor spaces across multiple sites. The role focuses on safe, high-standard grounds maintenance with practical outdoor tasks and independent work when needed.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and able to travel between locations, performing tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, and litter picking while adhering to safety procedures and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, or outdoor work experience is preferred but not essential.
• A full UK driving licence is required, with the ability to travel between multiple locations.
• At least two years' relevant experience is desirable.
• PA1/PA6 spraying qualifications are desirable, although training may be available.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual work in different weather conditions.
• A hardworking, punctual, and enthusiastic attitude.
• The ability to follow instructions and complete work to a high standard.
