Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver high-quality outdoor upkeep at GSK in Worthing. You will cut grass and hedges, clear leaves, spray where needed and maintain tidy, safe external spaces for our clients.

The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) with an hourly rate of £13.45. A full UK driving licence is preferred for roles involving company vehicles, and a PAi/PA6 spraying license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Passion for outdoor work and flexibility in outdoor environments.
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively
• Deliver winter services including gritting and snow clearance
• Report site hazards and relevant information to management
• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required

Requirement: MUST NOT HAVE A PENICILLIN ALLERGY, Full UK Driving Licence, Previous GMO experience
