Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Operative

Shift Times: TBC

Pay Rate: £12.21 - £12.50

Location: Wolverhampton WV7 3EX

This is a temporary position for a minimum of 12 weeks with the potential for extension or a permanent contract.

A basic DBS check will be part of the recruitment process; you must be willing to undergo this check.

Manpower is seeking Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based in Wolverhampton. In this role, you will deliver high-quality grounds maintenance services to various clients in the local area. Responsibilities include grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and more. You will also ensure a safe working environment and perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.

Training includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practices.

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full valid UK Driving License.
• Experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance role is essential.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training.
• Safety-conscious mindset.
• Ability to operate equipment and hand tools safely (e.g., strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers).
• Experience working in a busy team and providing high-quality service.
