Mitie Landscapes is recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. You will report to the Contracts Manager and support the delivery of high standards across canal maintenance works with Canal & River Trust.

Responsibilities include grass and hedge maintenance, safe operation of vehicles and machinery, and timely reporting of site information. A full driving licence and willingness to work outdoors are essential.

Formación

• Grounds maintenance experience.
• Full driving licence.
• Good understanding of smartphone technology.
• Willingness to work outdoors and flexibly.

• Maintaining the Canal network including grass cutting and hedge cutting.
• Providing management with relevant information and reporting, including site hazards.
• Operating all vehicles, machinery and equipment in line with Health & Safety procedures.
• Undertaking training as required.

Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at the UKs market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be supporting them in ensuring your team deliver the exceptional every day.

You will be working in partnership with Canal & River Trust is the UK's largest canal charity, who care for a 2,000-mile network of stunning canals and navigable rivers.

You will be responsible for.

• Maintaining the Canal network including grass cutting & hedge cutting,
