Job summary

Pinnacle Group in Wembley is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep outdoor spaces neat and appealing. You will join our grounds maintenance teams across North and Northwest London sites, performing lawn mowing, edging, hedge trimming, planting and general landscape upkeep.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as you’ll travel between sites and operate garden machinery. Hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with statutory benefits and a supportive, diverse workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience using gardening power tools.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns and edge to keep turf neat and healthy.
• Trim hedges, shrubs and bushes to promote growth and improve appearance.
• Weed flower beds, pathways and landscaped areas to prevent overgrowth.
• Plant flowers, shrubs and trees; prepare soil and beds.
• Clear debris, litter pick, sweep pathways and maintain outdoor cleanliness.
• Safely operate mowing machinery, strimmer and leaf blowers; maintain tools.
• Drive company vehicles to access multiple sites as required.

# Grounds Maintenance Operative## Job IntroductionPinnacle Group are looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. You will be joining our Grounds Maintenance teams who are based around the Wembley area and travelling to sites across North and Northwest London.Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.Your responsibilities will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, weeding, and general landscape upkeep of housing sites (new builds, extra care sites and sheltered accommodation). A full UK Driving Licence will be essential.You will have a keen eye for detail, be physically fit, and possess a strong work ethic.
