Job summary

Pinnacle Group are seeking a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep outdoor spaces well-maintained across Leicester and Leicestershire.

You will mow lawns, trim hedges, plant and weed, and operate gardening tools and ride-on machinery. A full UK driving licence is essential and the role runs 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Mowing lawns, hedges and general landscaping tasks required.
• Full UK driving licence essential for site travel and deliveries.
• Experience with gardening power tools and knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment.
• General maintenance of grounds (grass cutting, debris clearance, leaves, litter, hedge and shrub trimming).
• Use of gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride-on machinery.
• Maintenance of vehicles and gardening machinery.

Pinnacle Group are looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. You will be joining our Grounds Maintenance teams who are based in Leicester and travelling to sites across Leicestershire. Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations - including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care. Your responsibilities will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, weeding, and general landscape upkeep of housing sites (new builds, extra care sites and sheltered accommodation). You will have a keen eye for detail, be physically fit, and possess a strong work ethic. If you are passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful, safe outdoor environments, we would love to hear from you. This is a full time position where you will be working 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and a full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
