Job summary

Net Zero Careers Accelerator is recruiting 3 full-time, permanent Grounds Maintenance Operatives on behalf of a leading UK green space management provider operating at Gatwick. You will perform grass cutting, strimming, hedge work, and general grounds tasks across landside and airside areas as needed.

The role offers exposure to larger machinery over time and requires a full UK driving licence plus experience with light commercial vehicles. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience driving light commercial vehicles.
• Category beyond standard car licence (advantageous).
• Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience.

• Grass cutting on large open areas.

• Hedge cutting and shrub maintenance.
• General grounds maintenance duties.
• Operating pedestrian and ride-on mowers.
• Supporting integrated weed management practices.
• Working across landside and airside environments (security clearance may apply).

• Strimming
• Hedge cutting and shrub maintenance
• General grounds maintenance duties
• Operating pedestrian and ride-on mowers
• Supporting integrated weed management practices
• Working across landside and airside environments (subject to security clearance)

You’ll gradually be able to develop into operating larger machinery such as tractors and specialist equipment.
