Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep outdoor spaces across housing sites well-maintained and presenting. You will mow lawns, trim hedges, weed beds and perform general upkeep while operating groundskeeping equipment safely in all weather.

This full-time role is part of our Soft FM team based in Enfield. The ideal candidate will have proven grounds maintenance or landscaping experience, be physically fit, and able to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license is required.
• Proven grounds maintenance or landscaping experience.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good knowledge of horticultural practices including planting, pruning and weed control.
• Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and hand tools safely.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in grounds maintenance.
• Excellent customer service and ability to communicate with clients and the public.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge and maintain lawns to keep them neat and healthy.
• Trim and shape hedges, shrubs and bushes.
• Weed flower beds, pathways and landscaped areas.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and prepare soil and beds.
• Clear debris, litter pick, sweep pathways and keep outdoor areas clean.
• Safely operate mowers, strimmers and leaf blowers; maintain tools.
• Drive company vehicles to access multiple sites.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform seasonal duties like leaf clearing or preparing sites for weather conditions.

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure that outdoor spaces across numerous housing sites are well-maintained and well-presented. You will be responsible for a variety of landscaping tasks, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges and shrubs, weeding flower beds and pathways and performing general upkeep such as clearing debris. You will operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently, following all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, be physically fit, able to work in all weather conditions and possess a keen eye for detail. You will be joining our Soft FM team based in Enfield, Our Soft FM team is responsible for a wide range grounds maintenance services across the South East of the country. This is a full time permanent position, working 7:30AM-4PM Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, and maintaining lawns to keep them neat and healthy.

• Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants as well as preparing soil and beds.

• Safely operating machinery such as mowers, strimmer and leaf blowers, along with maintaining tools and equipment.
• Driving company vehicles to transport equipment and access multiple sites as required.
• Following all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Performing seasonal duties like leaf clearing, frost protection, or preparing sites for different weather conditions.

Key Requirements

• Valid driving license.
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good knowledge of horticultural practices, including planting, pruning, and weed control.
• Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Understanding of and compliance with health and safety regulations relevant to grounds maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and the public.
