Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to service schools in the Birmingham area on a full-time basis. The role involves mowing, strimming, and maintaining lawns, bushes and weeds along a set local route.

Essentially you must hold a Full UK Driving License and an enhanced DBS ( DBS can be arranged if needed). No CSCS card is required. The position is permanent, following a temporary period for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Enhanced DBS is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school grounds including lawns, bushes, shrubs and weeds.
• Mow, strim and clean as you go on the assigned route to ensure proactive maintenance.
• Carry out duties within the local Birmingham area to keep sites well maintained.

Grounds Maintenance Operative

PERMANENT ROLE

RG Setsquare is working closely with a Grounds Maintenance contractor with a role available, covering the Birmingham area. They would like to hire an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team, maintaining schools grounds in the local area.

The role will include managing lawns, bushes, shrubs and weeds and the duties will include mowing, strimming and cleaning as you go - covering a set route in the local area to ensure that proactive maintenance is carried out.

Essential:

• Full UK Driving License
• An enhanced DBS is critical for this role - If you do not hold an in date DBS, we can arrange for one for you

You DO NOT need a CSCS card.

This is a role being offered on a temporary to permanent basis. This is NOT a seasonal role, it is a full time permanent opportunity and is available for the right person to join the team asap.
