Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is seeking an experienced Estimator (Ground Remediation) to join an established enabling works contractor. You will prepare detailed estimates, tenders and quotations for excavation, soil and groundwater treatment, waste disposal and groundworks, liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

The role requires knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts, take-offs and cost plans, plus strong analytical, delivery and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• The successful Estimator will have estimating experience within construction, land remediation or enabling works, with knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts, tendering portals, take-offs and cost plans.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed estimates, tenders and quotations covering excavation, soil and groundwater treatment, waste disposal, ground stabilisation, civil engineering and groundworks.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, undertake site visits, review estimates and support the handover of successful tenders to operational teams.
